After numerous conversations with fellow bloggers over the last few months I’ve realised that there really isn’t much in the way of public dialogue about income and earnings amongst the content creator community.
Sure, with the odd text message here and there, Or perhaps a natter over coffee with blogger besties, that conversation of income might come up.
But in general, as an industry, we don’t really have a clear picture of how much we should charge for commercial work, how much others are charging, and overall what our income projections could, or should be.
In my experience I think a lot of bloggers are under-charging and they don’t realise it. In a few cases there are bloggers totally nailing their business and doing phenomenally well.
So in the spirit of sharing the knowledge I’ve decided to create an income survey in the hopes we can get as many different bloggers at all levels of success, experience and niches to share honestly where they are at financially. I will then collate the data to share with everyone so we can ALL learn from it.
I will run the survey for 2-3 weeks and share the results thereafter.
It would be SUPER USEFUL if you could take the time to fill in the survey as honestly as possible. I have made it anonymous so please do share as much as you can.
And if you could share this survey with your own networks of bloggers that would help. The more bloggers take part in the income survey the more accurate results we will get.
Yes, it is quite long, but the more data we can collect the better understanding we can get of our industry. So grab yourself a cuppa and settle down for a good survey sesh!
UK Blogger Income Survey
Thanks again for taking the survey and please share this with other bloggers!
